The Data Protection Act of 1998 makes Commercial Real Estate Loan responsible for maintaining privacy of the personal information provided by borrowers. Every purpose that the personal information will be put to needs to be expressly stated. At Commercial Real Estate Loan, the primary use of personal information of borrowers is in matching with the deals available. The aim of this exercise is to customise deals according to borrower’s requirements. The personal information will not be sold or passed on to any person or agency without express and prior permission of customer. An exception to this is when a court of law or legal body wants the personal information.
